The Big Interview Mobile App

From interacting with our video curriculum to recording mock interviews on the go, the Big Interview mobile app is designed to help you prepare for your medical school or residency interviews anywhere, at any time.

How to Download

You can download the Big Interview app by searching for "Big Interview" in the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android).

Registration and Login

To access the mobile app, you must first have an active account.

• Standard Registration: If your organization does not use Single Sign-On (SSO), you will typically create your account via the desktop version first. During this process, you may be required to enter a specific Organization Code provided by your institution. Once registered, use those credentials to sign into the mobile app.
• SSO Users: If your institution uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you can log in directly through the app by selecting the "Log in with SSO" option and entering your institutional email address.

The mobile app is optimized for the "practice" and "learning" phases of your medical interview preparation:

• Video Curriculum: Watch our comprehensive video lessons, including specialized tracks for Medical School and Residency interviews.
• Mock Interview Practice: Access thousands of practice questions and record your responses using your phone’s camera.
• Assignments: Complete and submit specific mock interviews assigned by your instructor directly through the app.
• Share for Feedback: Use the Share button within the app to send your recorded practice videos directly to mentors, peers, or advisors for review.
• Progress Tracking: Review your recorded videos and monitor your improvement over time.

App Limitations and Technical Tips

While the mobile app is a powerful tool for practice, please note that certain features remain exclusive to the desktop version:

• VideoAI: AI-driven feedback and scoring are not currently available on mobile. Please use the desktop version to receive AI analysis on your recordings.
• Answer Builder: The interactive tool for crafting responses using the STAR method is not available in the app. Use a desktop browser to create or edit your saved answers.
• Curriculum Quizzes: To ensure your "Lesson Completed" progress and certificates are accurately tracked, we recommend completing curriculum quizzes on a desktop browser.

Technical Note: For the best experience on desktop, we recommend using the most recent versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Avoid using Safari or mobile web browsers for recording, as they are not currently supported; always use the dedicated Big Interview app for mobile recording.
