Completing an Assignment

Accessing Your Assignment

Your instructor will provide access via one of the following methods. For the best experience, please use a desktop or laptop with a working webcam and microphone.

• Email Invitation:
• Existing Users: Clicking the link will take you directly to the assignment once you are logged in.
• New Users: The link will guide you through the account registration process.
• SSO Users: If your institution uses Single Sign-On (SSO), clicking the link will redirect you to your school’s standard login portal before taking you to the assignment.
• Assignment Code: If your instructor provided a specific code, log in to your dashboard and navigate to the Assignments tab. Enter the code in the "Enter Code" field to immediately unlock the task.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Technical Setup

To ensure a smooth recording experience, please complete the following:

• Permissions: When prompted by your browser, click "Allow" to grant access to your camera and microphone.
• Calibration (VideoAI Only): This step only applies to schools that have VideoAI enabled. If your assignment has VideoAI, you will be prompted to complete a calibration step to help the AI accurately analyze your eye contact and delivery. If your school does not have this feature, you will skip this process entirely.

2. Recording Your Responses

1. Enter the Assignment: Once you are taken to the assignment page, click Start on the designated assignment.
2. Review any specific instructions or time limits provided by your instructor.
3. Listen to the Question: Click the Play button to hear the question.
4. Record: Once you have heard the question, you can begin your response after you click Start Recording.
5. Review & Retake: After each response, you can playback your video. Depending on your instructor’s settings, you may have the option to "Try Again" or "Save and Continue" to move to the next question.

3. Final Submission

After answering the final question, you must click the Submit Assignment button. Your instructor will not be able to view or grade your work until this final step is completed and you receive a submission confirmation.

Feedback and AI Analysis

• VideoAI Availability: AI-driven feedback (VideoAI) is an optional feature. Admins for organizations that have purchased this feature can choose to enable or disable it for specific assignments.
• Viewing Results: If your organization does not have VideoAI, or if your Admin has chosen not to enable it for a particular assignment, you will not be asked to calibrate and will not see automated insights after submission.
• Instructor Feedback: Regardless of VideoAI settings, your instructor always has the ability to review your submission and provide personalized coaching and grades.
